Cranberry Orange Crock Pot Cider
Hello friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit my new blog! 🎉😊
I have always loved creating things, whether it's painting projects, trying yummy recipes, or doing anything DIY and crafty, I love it all!
Today I'll be showing you a super easy cider recipe that is perfect for any fall or winter party! Crock Pot drinks are great for parties because they pack a big punch in the wow factor and flavor department, but they are incredibly easy to make (which is is life saver around the holidays or if you have a busy schedule).
My family Christmas Eve dinner was coming up and I decided to try and make this Cranberry Orange cider and it turned out DELICIOUS. Everyone who tried it, loved it! There are not many steps to this glorious crock of cheer, but I will walk you through them so you can wow your guests with this showstopper at your next get together! 💗
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 of 64 ounce bottle of apple cider
3/4 of 64 ounce bottle of cranberry juice
1/2 cup fresh cranberries
1-2 small gala apples
1 orange
2 cinnamon sticks
pinch of ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon allspice
STEP ONE:
Slice apples and oranges into thin slices. Set aside.
STEP TWO:
Pour about 3/4 of the bottle of Apple cider and 3/4 of the bottle of cranberry juice into the Crock Pot. I did this because I have a smaller slow cooker, if you have a larger one at home, feel free to pour the whole bottle in for each. This step is very customizable. If you want your cider to be more tart, pour more of the cranberry juice in than the apple cider. If you want your cider to be more sweet, pour less of the cranberry juice in than the apple cider.
STEP THREE:
Place the cranberries, sliced apples, sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, and spices into Crock Pot with the juices and give it a gentle stir. It should look something like this:
Looks amazing right??? 😍
Let's get a close up of that in case you aren't already drooling....
Okay, now that I want to make this again just for myself, let's move on to the next step. 😉
STEP FOUR:
Place the lid on top and turn the Crock Pot on low.
STEP FIVE:
Let the cider simmer for for about 3-4 hours and let the sweet aroma fill your house!
STEP SIX:
Take the cinnamon sticks out, turn the Crock Pot to the warm setting, and enjoy!!
I hope your family loves this cider as much as mine did. We will definitely be making this again!!
